Dr. Kris Creytens haalde in 2013 met grote onderscheiding zijn diploma geneeskunde aan de Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Hij vervolledigde zijn opleiding op de dienst dermatologie te UZ Leuven onder leiding van Prof. Dr. Garmyn. In juli 2017 behaalde hij zijn diploma van ‘Master na Master in de Dermatologie en Venereologie’ en erkenning als arts-specialist.
Dr. Creytens is sinds augustus 2017 werkzaam op de dienst dermatologie in het Regionaal Ziekenhuis RZ Tienen, waar hij ook afdelingshoofd is. Hij is tevens werkzaam als consulent lasertherapie UZ Leuven te Gasthuisberg. Naast algemene dermatologie heeft hij bijzonder interesse in contactallergie, kleine chirurgische ingrepen en lasertherapie. In 2022 richtte hij zijn privé-praktijk Fiderm op, waar hij verschillende laserbehandelingen aanbiedt.
Hij is lid van de Belgische Beroepsvereniging voor Dermatologie en Venerologie, The European Society of Contact Dermatitis en The European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology.
Dr Creytens is geaccrediteerd, niet geconventioneerd.
